OHS Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program
OHS Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program has played an instrumental role in improving the safety of our roads in California for more than 30 years. Over the last several months, the COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected our services. Despite our best efforts to adjust to rapidly evolving circumstances, including implementing our work-from-home solution and offering our services via telehealth and telephonically, we have made the decision to stop our services and exit the business. Our San Marcos location will remain open until further notice.
This is not a decision we undertook lightly, but after thoughtful consideration of all of our options, we regret to announce that we will no longer operate the DUI Program.
As we plan for our transition of ending our services, our valued program participants remain our highest priority. To ensure a successful transition, we want to provide you with the following information about what to expect in the coming weeks:
- With exception to our San Marcos location, on September 1st 2020, we will stop providing direct services and begin transferring participants to receiving DUI programs. With the exception of program participants eligible for completion by September 30, 2020. All active participants will receive a transfer form via email, with information regarding your new DUI Program location, and the deadline for you to enroll in new classes. We encourage you to contact the receiving program as soon as you receive your transfer-out form to schedule a transfer-in appointment and avoid program termination. Click here to find all DUIP program locations in California.
- All program participant records will be securely maintained by County offices in the County you are attending your program. Please call our center at (855)384-8055 for further information
Together we will work with you to ensure a safe and successful transition in the weeks ahead.
